 Why wouldn't your female friend just create her own profile? Why take a male friend's "extra" profile?

I thought it was AGAINST THE RULES to have more than one profile on here.
Also wondered why a woman would take a "man's" extra profile, much easier to create her own new one. Why would hers stop working, Mike or Van could have fixed it for her.
