Morning minglers.. We're having a big family get together today and I have been sooo busy. I made 20lbs of potatoe salad and lots of brownies yesterday. I'm getting too old to do all this work...LOL I need a vacation! Hope you all have a great day!

Betts deactivated, you were gone..I tell ya, things have gone to hell in a handbasket!!! so glad you are back ! had problems getting my acct reactivated, but I was never that far away. I feel it's time to bounce the ball & let this thread take its rightfull place near the top of the list again. Seems it's 7 days since anyone was last here. In the South Pacific I can inform you that the air comes from the East, with great speed via the South Pole, luckily without Polar Bears, even though they would be right at home. At this point, winter may pack its portmanteau & retreat to whence it came. There is no hurry, yesterday would be favourite for a leaving date. Otherwise, I trust all are well, fit & a little frivolous.............be kind to each other friends

i'll help keep the fluffy ducks in a box and bump this thread... my apologies to betty and the rest of y'all youngsters on this wonderful thread. this here bulldog got his paws on a 2003 harley davidson sportster 1200. it is a 100th anniversary edition in a pretty pearl white. twist your wrist and this iron horse gets you down the road in a hurry. riding time severely cuts into mingle time the celebrations continue for the five time nba champion san antonio spurs. thanks to everyone who supported the spurs this season!

Morning minglers! Ese, your bike is very similar to mine. It was a 2009 Sportster 1200 pearly white with silver stripe, and it was so powerful and fast! I really miss it. I'm headed to Pennsylvania for a few days to visit my daughter. Weather is supposed to be nice, hopefully traffic won't be too bad. Everyone have a great weekend and I'll talk to you all when I get back.

Morning mingle friends.. Light rain this morning and a little warmer than its been. Although the pool water was warm, you really had to dry off quickly the last few days as the humidity was way down and it was breezy..lol Just wanted to remind all of you that when you are traveling watch out for the overpasses.. The day before I went to Pennsylvania, a local teacher, her husband and daughter were traveling on I-80 thru PA and headed for NY. The daughter was driving and as they came to an overpass 4 kids were on it and threw a hunk of concrete at the car. It hit the windshield and hit the teacher in the face. Can you even imagine? The daughter was driving and able to get the car off the road and husband saw everything from the back seat. The lady has been in critical condition ever since and still not sure if she will make it. How horrible. This could have been me..I travel that same road going to my daughters... On my trip to Pa., I got into a 15 mile backup. There was a semi fire and the road had been closed for some time.. We were driving 5 mph for 15 miles... Needless to say it was a long trip. Have a great weekend everyone!

Morning minglers, A few days have passed and nobody has been here..Its summer and everybody out having fun! LOL Just booked a flight to Colorado , going to visit a friend.. Will be going camping and fishing, digging for gemstones (hope I find something) and headed down to New Mexico. Taking a much needed vacation! Hot (90) here today with rain later this afternoon. Cooling down to about 70 tomorrow.. Have some errands to run today and then some things to do here. Having lunch with my grandson and my daughter tomorrow.. Everyone have a beautiful day!
