I understand where your coming from Tee Bee I have the same thoughts but there is no harm in having a chat with others its no different than if you struck up a conversation with someone in person.

I think it's like real life, even when I was together with someone I always had other female friends. I didn't date these friends or have sex with them and my spouse knew them. It's the same here, just be up front, if the other person can't take it, they're probably the insecure jealous type and you should run away...run...,run. :-)
Honesty usually works, unless you're a spy, really not a good idea if you're a spy. Or a con artist "Hi, I'm a con artist and I'm going to try and get you to give me your money." Probably only works on seriously stupid people. |

Now.. I don't care. But when I did seriously date online... I always felt awkward continuing to search online after making a connection with someone! It's odd..right? I mean me and this other person JUST freaking met, really. Why did I feel so sneaky after talking to this guy but I'm still looking online! Did anyone else go thru this? Sweet Tee, there is a simple solution to your problem. Forget the male Humans, and date a Melmacian instead. I think I might just try Melmacian.. I just bought an orange purse and shoes, may as well TOTALLY coordinate |

If I am serious about meeting someone in person after to talking to them online, I have a tendency to let other conversations taper off. If I have more than one I am interested in, I am open and honest with them so no feelings get hurt or they can tell me they are not interested.

Frankly, there really aren't that many datable women on here for it to be a problem. What I did find on other sites that had more though was that it just got confusing trying to multitask conversations like that.
In general, I don't waste a lot of time on idle chatter with women that I'm not going to meet and it's rare to get a date with a procrastinator that would rather message indefinetely instead of meeting up. If you don't get a date within a week, chances are that you never will. The only women that I think that I've kept talking to for longer than that on here were one or two friends from the forums and the first one that I dated from here because at the time I was on a mission after five years without a girlfriend. |

I don't see anything wrong with talking to other men. I could keep him as a friend, as a long as he keeps it simple. As I hate having to "tread carefully".
