After I found out I was deploying, all the women disappeared. Seems as though they were not willing to wait for me to get back nor did they want to have to worry about supporting me while I was gone. To me, this would be the perfect time to get to know someone. I'm thinking that after getting to know someone online and talking on a regular basis, it would make things very interesting when it comes time for my deployment to end and we are able to meet in person for the first time.
