Topic: Obama Takes ANOTHER Vacation This Time During A Crisis | |
---|---|
The White House brushed off concerns Friday that, with the crisis in Crimea intensifying, now might not be the best time for President Obama -- and his vice president -- to go on vacation.
The travel schedules of both the president and Vice President Biden have come under scrutiny, given the rapidly changing situation in Ukraine. Obama, already in Florida to talk about education, was planning to spend some family time this weekend in Key Largo, Fla., where he arrived late in the day. Biden, meanwhile, will be in the Virgin Islands. He said Obama plans to spend time with his wife and daughters while in the Keys. "There are some recreational amenities on the property, including workout facilities, tennis courts, a couple of golf courses," he noted. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2014/03/07/obama-biden-stick-to-vacation-schedules-despite-ukraine-crisis/ This is getting out of hand. This idiot has no common sense and good judgment. |

This is getting out of hand. This idiot has no common sense and good judgment. President Obama's not like McCain who couldn't handle two things at the same time--having to fly back to Washington DC to attend meetings on the economic collapse of 2008 instead of campaign in swing states. As President, Obama can completely stay on top of the situation with his daily brief emails and a few phone calls with select cabinet secretaries. Anyway, the stress of the job pretty much requires some down-time. To paraphrase, all work and no play makes Barack a dull boy. It sure is funny, though, that the Cons never have problems with presidential vacations until Democrats get into the White House. |

Obama missed more votes in the Senate then any other candidate during the campaign. At least when Senator McCain voted it was yes or no, not present. Some down time? He just had a vacation a month ago. If he needs vacation that bad h can go to the Presidential retreat at Camp David where it doesn't cost the tax payers out the a$$. This makes 34 vacations in 6 years. Can we say excessive. BTW the President can't do everything while on vacation, especially when were in the middle of a crisis that looks like it could turn in to a military conflict at any time. He would have a hard to addressing Congress from the golf course in Florida to get the ok to send troops in or put sanctions out. Oh wait your right, we don't have a President we have a dictator who goes around Congress with a stroke of a pen and an executive order. Never mind then I guess he can then. |

Only Vacation would cure it, would be a permanent one after a Trial in the Senate! |
