Lost and alone
I walk down the street Trying so hard just to make the ends meet No sign of employment around here can I find I have the strange feeling I'm losing my mind Friends around here of whom I have none I'd be oh so thankful if there was just one Job applications So many I've filed With not one reply I feel I'm reviled This is the cry of a desperate man I've done all in my power, done all that I can Family ignore me from none do I hear Maybe things will improve by this time next year I wish nothing more than a cheerful hello A cheerful good morning, not I think you should go Is there any respite to my doubt and my sorrow Who know, things could be better by this time tomorrow I try to keep up a good disposition I pray for some help On this my last mission. No matter what happens I will not complain All that I ask Is to be happy again. Tom September 13 2007 |

Tom...
Things will be ok... |

Good prose- You have a reasonable knack for wordage-
"Maybe things will improve by this time next year" Look to the Future, remember the past and live for today :) It can't rain all the time- |
