So, I grew up in Utah and was wondering if other people from Utah think it is difficult coming out/ finding a same sex partner living in Utah. Because of the religious background here, I've usually been told its evil or whatever. Do others get that same reaction? If you have lived in other places how does Utah compare?

Tough state to be who you are.
I was born there, went to BYU too, fortunately
was raised in California for normalcy.

Just wanted you to know, there was a time when
blacks were not welcome there, then, wham, a
new prophecy, and they were IN!

I see the time coming for you, if you are still
around to enjoy it :-)

Thanks soufiehere, I wonder sometimes how some people justify their hatred, it makes me sad. But I hope you're right.

Some people, and their religions, have to be
dragged screaming and kicking into the
new millennium :-)

Other states are much less harsh.

Some areas are probably better than others. Avoid Provo. :) I grew up in the church and am only currently
Trying to unravel the head game it has played on me.....
