Topic: "Search" needs more criteria

Hi... wonder if you couldn't add a little more info when creating profile....like age, religion, ethnicity, hobbies, pasttimes, etc..... I find the search just too general altogether, and produce ineffective results that are too widespread.

I agree Its also helpful for people to realize what they post is a representation of them and more information leads to a more honest direct and helpful narrative and profile ...

Have you tried the 'Advanced' Search yet? http://mingle2.com/search/preferences (>>>Search>>>Advanced Search) The regular Search already has an age parameter.

Search REALLY needs a "last online" filter. Tired of seeing profiles that are no longer being used, ie. user was last online over a month ago.

Some people wait until they get a notification from Mingle to come back to check it out (if they have interest) ergo, when last they were online makes little difference. So, it would not hurt to send an email, they may reply :-)

search needs a restricted. notification on their bio.. spend the time to put together a message send it. oops sorry.. you drink.. you're too old.. you live too far away.. you smoke!.. girl on girl only.. Man on boy only..lol..jk... you all feeling me.. Wezzz ur 2 Ezzz..

You can do that with your profile but search, yes I understand although when you narrow it down you're knackered

THIS! when they were last online does matter, it may not matter so much if last seen over a month ago didn't also also mean last seen over 3 years ago.... So because this site ages people out, after a month...regardless if that has been YEARS it definitely needs that feature.
