Sure it was a waste of time in hindsight, but at least you took a chance! I've always liked the old adage "It is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all." As much as it may hurt now, at least you were not afraid to take a chance on love. Keep moving forward and don't look back, otherwise you may never find the one for you.

So, what you mean is, you talked with someone for a bit. And, lo and behold, it turns out they lied to you. Imagine that. On the internet. Where you are whatever you say you are. |

Well Peptang, I have a life and thankfully, so do you ....There are lots of games being played on the "net" and you got caught in one...Luckily you found out before it went too far...Something else you will learn in time is that people participating in the forums are NOT THE ENEMY ...Your best bet is to hang out and get to know "real" peeps...You will find us on the boards baby.

Idk the situation but maybe the girl is getting out of the marriage and wants ur friendship. I wouldn't stop talking to her IF she openly told you. Try and ask her specifics like "why". Maybe that will either help u move on bc u have closure or maybe help open a door in friendship.
