oo. I totally misunderstood the OP. I thought she was talking about the progress of women, in general...not the elimination of men. yikes.

lol. like i always say, men need women way more than women need men...

LOl Moe I respectfully disagree we both need each other equally. Sometimes the give and take makes it feel unequal at times but overall if you have two people being good to each other then the quality of life is so superior that it is really hard to describe. I only hope all the men and women on Mingle who have not known that blessing will one day.

i'm sorry, i was talking from a procreation standpoint only... if all the men were to disappear right now, the human race could still thrive and continue... if all the women were to disappear, the human race would go extinct... sorry about the confusion, i totally agree with what your saying...
flowerforyou

well, technically, all the men couldn't disappear because women give birth to men and women

if women stopped giving birth to men, the human race would still go extinct, it would just not do it as quickly

ASSUMING cloning and artificial wombs weren't perfected by the men who were left

eggs have been donated and frozen too,,,

Studies show that, In this 21st century it appears women are evolving, they are learning that they don't have to have a man to provide and protect them and their off-springs. Procreation, raising children no longer means women have to put up with men's self-serving attitudes.

Survival of the fittest/strongest!! I wonder what this means for future generations.

Feminist/Masculist conversation in the year 2104

Woman: I am not happy! I am thinking of divorce.

Man: Fine. BTW, the enemy has invaded the city.

Woman: You must rush to defend me!

Man: (Enemy within 1 mile) I defended you last time. It is your turn.

Woman: But you are a man! You must! You are a man!

Man: (Enemy within 100 yards) Sorry, dear. Feminists wanted equality.

Woman: But I will be raped/enslaved! What can I do to convince you?

Man: (Enemy at gate) You will renounce feminism.

Woman: No. Feminism is the true and only way.

Man: (Enemy at door ) OK (yawn) I hope your throat likes enemy c*ck.

Woman: Ok! Yes! Feminism is evil. I will never be a feminist again.

Man: I will defend you. After I have finished, you will quit your job, remain home, then cook, clean, and suck all day.

Woman: Thank you. I love you so much.

gross,,

why must it be one extreme or the other, or a 'must'?

smh

lets cherish each other and appreciate and embrace the differences

we generally accept men are stronger, by the reactions I see when a man has hit a woman back, compared to the reaction of the woman hitting the man

but that is not grounds for man to treat women like a doormat,,,,or a maid,,

its not so hard to just appreciate each other,,,and not make it a competition

Women demand equality, except when it means they'll lose their little advantage.

It's pretty much a no-brainer that there were no feminists on the Titanic.

That whole "women and children first" does have it's special little perks doesn't it?

Equal pay for equal work? Sure! Oh wait, I won't be able to work this weekend, because I'm taking Jimmy to his soccer game, but don't dare make my check one penny short because of it. And I won't be in Mon, Tues, or Wed, because I'm "cramping".

Maybe one side is just a little more "equal" than the other. shades

some folks have apparently not heard of molly brown or lilly ledbetter

You should consider educating the masses on those two ladies.

Pretty sure Molly put on her "I'm a helpless woman" hat, she survived.

And she wasn't in the ocean treading water with the men. shades

pretty sure there were men in the boat with her.

Not "men", MAN. ONE MAN Quartermaster Robert Hichens, the crewman in charge of Lifeboat 6. The rest were women that exercised their perks. shades

Women used to earn them. And they deserved them.

That changed when men started to demand that they were no different and wanted to be treated like men.

They burned their bras, and ran into the street(s) screaming "We're just men with t!ts! We're all the same!

They weren't careful about what they wished for, they got it.

And have been complaining ever since.

Viper your "conversation of 21st century" is an insult to the women who serve in our armed forces, in fact it's an insult to all soldiers male and female....

Really?

Seeing has how my Grandfather was a Vietnam POW, I'm pretty sure he would be alive today, if they had put forth 1/10th effort to get him back that they utilized for Jessica Lynch.

You really think this country is ready to see lines of flag draped, silver coffins filled with females?

Think again.

There is no "monument of hate", simply an acknowledgement of the world as it is today..

Besides most women say they don't want a mangina, but a "bad boy" rofl

Betty, "you tell it like it is." I'm still chuckling. The topic was about women taking charge of their lives. Ladies be proud, we've come a long ways since the early 1900's. If you don't believe it you may need to do some research.
