I can't say for guys for sure but ones that ever talked to me about it the realization was almost immediate. Not all guys would let on that was how they felt right away. But they didn't have a whole lot of desire to mess around about going after getting the deal sealed because they felt like if they wanted it so bad they could taste it so would others. What held a lot of guys up was lack of confidence it was mutual or that they could handle the responsibilities; home, transportation, and kids.
