I am a vet tech in Maryland, and have been in the profession for a long time answering may questions for pet owner. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm also looking to make some new friends.

it's 8 below zero, going to 18 below by morn with wind about 10 mph, should i give my horse and donkey some hot chocolate before bed time?

How effective is the Bordetella vaccine?

Very effective if given 2 weeks before your dog is put in kennel. If it is in kennel 3 or more times a year, vaccinate every six months. Go with the nasal drop vaccine if given a choice.
