From Boogie Nights to Charlie Wilsons War to Capote, he was fantastic in everything. He made you understand his character, even when his character was being an *******. That is a rare talent; this is a huge loss.
I wont pretend to sympathize with relatives who I only discovered reading the news, of course their loss is immeasurable, but I cant understand their loss, never having known the man. I know his work, its nuance and beauty. I can only imagine the man behind it, but it is the promise of his future work that pains me. R.I.P.
