I think its too simplistic, like saying

'the right imagines FREEBIES, WELFARE, and CORRUPTION everywhere'

the 'right' and the 'left' are made up of people who have legitimate concerns about very real things like 'freebies' or corruption or welfare or bigotry

its hard to discuss any of those things though, because they so quickly turn into an invitation to categorize as 'left' or 'right' the views expressed and to diminish what could be relevant concerns into character attacks based upon the leftness or rightness(?) of the concern.

PEOPLE are concerned about bigotry ,

as they should be, many things are worth our attention or concern, which is a far cry from needing to become our obsession or sole focus,,,,

all people are bigots, it's inherent in our genes... it stems from the gatherer part of our past, where we had to worry about other clans taking our food...
being concerned about it won't change anything...

and there ya have it,,,


but those who are disproportionately negatively AFFECTED by such bigotry, do have reason to be concerned

and those who CARE abut those who are negatively affected

we are born pissing ourselves too, that doesn't mean we shouldn't be concerned if we are amongst adults who are doing the same,,,

growing and learning and choice, are as important as how we are 'all born'

what are you saying here... negatively? is there positive bigotry? helping your own race is not bigotry, and neither is hiring the best person qualified for a job... times aren't great right now, and black or white helping their own kind out is not bigotry...

there is bigotry that has little impact on others, like

my ex calling me an n word when he didn't get his way, that was isolated individual bigotry that may have been hurtful to my ego but not to anything else

a majority having bigoted ideas and belief about another group that causes them to COLLECTIVELY oppress or impede another group is a 'negative' affect, because it impacts a MULTITUDE (collectively) and not just an individual in an isolated situation..

the word 'some' makes it hard to argue

some humans , in both the political left and political right, project their bias onto others,,,,

whether its a racial bias, an economic bias, a gender bias, an occupational bias,, nationalistic bias, an ethnicity bias, or any number of biases,,,,there really is no side that doenst have 'some' people doing a fair share of projection,,,
