On a serious note, you may want to be cautious of those who call you "dear" on every email. |

Inappropriate terms of endearment are not gender specific. Some women are a bit loose with "honey", "dear", etc. I don't take offense but do notice the inappropriateness (and wonder if it applies elsewhere).

Why is it that some guys thinks it Sweet to call you Dear.... Like Really.... what are some words that creep you out...... Dear, Honey, Sweetheart, Babe, Baby, Sexy, Love, and some "terms of endearment" usually couples used. i prefer these names uttered by someone i know not just a random stranger... its inappropriate. |

Hate it, hate it. And if your mate says 'Yes, dear' I thinks it's curtains. Oh how I agree with the "yes dear" from the mate!...It's not curtains the first few times, but a girl can only offer so much free advice before she starts charging ...Why don't they get it?.... *sigh* |

I have found that emails I get starting with "Hi Dear" are usually scammers..
