Why should churches help anyone but their congregations?

There are only three purposes of an organized religion. The original purpose was to provide safe communion among like-minded people.

The second purpose was devised by those who would use religion to passify the masses and lure them into submission and obedience to 'laws'.

The third purpose is to provide a walled environment for children, where knowledge is considered, first and formost, to be the doctrine that the congregation recognises as the glue that holds that community together.

Any other purpose would be hypocritical to the faith or to those who seek to lead by passifying those who seek to follow.

there are good churches and there are bad ones but it seems to be the bad ones that everyone focuses on for a reason to dislike all Christians.
