I am just curious....I have read a few posts in here of people who have met and fallen in love on this site and one or the other of them ends up relocating. I am wondering how realistic that is for the majority of the people on this site. So the question is......
If you were to meet someone and fall in love with them ....but they lived a significant distance from where you are, would you be willing to pack up and move to where they are? |

For me that is a very simple answer.........YES

How about any of you people that are raising kids right now? Is it actual reality for you to be able to (or even desire ) pack up and move yourself and your children?

It depends on where they lived. I wouldn't move somewhere that I couldn't stand to be.To answer your question, if we were truley in Love (More than just a few months) then yes I would consider it.

At this point in my life, I would have to say no, Only cause my father is in a nursing home with "Lou Gherrigs Diseas" I'm all he has left, Cause my older brother past away April 5th 2005 of a heartatack,,
So no I won't move at this point in my life, SORRY,,, |

It's all about location, and potential to find employment.
If the above fell into place the answer is yes |

Obviously one person would have to move. Which one would depend on who could find a job where the other lives. Besides, if he doesn't love me enough to relocate to me, then he really doesn't love me.

My kids are young and their mom is nearby. I've got too much time invested in my job to walk away now, So regrettfully, NO.
If my boys were grown and on their own, Who knows? |

After a lot of courting, meeting to spend time with them, maybe. But I would rather have them relocate in my area.

I have done it before, and I fell on my nose big time, so I would have to meet the other person quite a lot, spent a lot of time to be sure it won't happen again.

In another year, after my youngest graduates...you bet!!!! But now, it is a holding pattern....
