Depends where you put it though? ha ha. I'm on my last legs on this site as I tell it how it is and worry about the consequences later. Bet there's a few on here that look and see ' sarcasm button ' and think you're talking about a womans g-spot? ha ha

So sorry to hear that you're getting all of that crappy west coast weather and having to work in it while the weather is fine here and I'm off to the pub Larsson.

Sarcasm can be funnier on the internet when people take it seriously. I think of myself as having a dry sort of sense of humour and irony is all about the person that's the butt of the joke not getting it.

I've had that experience. Some people just take things to seriously and or personally. I have pissed off a few people on twitter because they don't understand sarcasm.

Maybe they just don't like it...

Whenever people leave a construction zone, they see a sign like this:

So, when people leave a sarcasm zone, they should see a sign like this:

good points, guys. but there is also another element: youre male. its acceptable for you do the being-an-***-but-joking-but-not-really thing. if i do it, i just sound like a nag.....not that i care too much. i think mostly ppl find it intimidating that i can match wits in the first place. its whatevs. scr'uum!!!

Wrong. Women invented and perfected sarcasm.

No, God invented sarcasm. He made Woman, didn't he?

That was actually the idea. Just all the sudden a hand pops out of the person's computer and slaps them up side the head. I guess to keep it from being abusive it could be a foam rubber hand. But where would the fun in that be?

No. It was pretty obvious they took the joke personally. One person seemed to make even stories about people O worked with about her. Put herself in the other persons place to much.

I once told her a story about a girl I worked with who was complaining about how a guy walking up from behind called her sir. And the way she reacted you would think I was laughing at her being called a man instead of the girl I had worked with. Empathy can certainly be a good thing. But holy crap. Some people need to learn moderation on that. hahaha
