It may be easier for us to have productive , hopeful, uplifting lives if we take into account that MEDIA Is not the world.

I remember a summer when there were all these news reports of people being taken and I Thought , 'wow, why are child abductions happening so often nowadays?"

in reality, child abductions WERENT happening more, but less than in the past,, upon researching the numbers

so just because there is more access in more places for things to be reported,, doesn't mean that they are happening in greater number, it just means there are a greater number of sources to report about it and that is the trending media topic for the moment,,,


if it bleeds it leads, remember that the media makes its money with sponsors, sponsors count on viewership, and viewers are more drawn to the negative than the positive


so don't believe things are terrible based off of what is being reported in the media,,,


do the research for yourself,,, go on what you experience for yourself,,, come to conclusions based on the BALANCE of what seems consistent amongst those two things, change your perception, change your life
