My question would be.....is the NSA going to do anything other than keep quiet on this?

I thought their programs were put in place to avoid such threats.... After all, is this not a threat to our economy and/or our citizens?

Seems they are more worried about whether or not your boyfriend or girlfriend is having sex and with whom, or where you stand politically.

The NSA could do something about it if the hackers had done the crime over the phone. According to the reports I read, Target's system was hacked from an unsecured terminal in one of their stores. The investigation's not over, though, and the people responsible could still get caught trying to move or use the stolen data.

As a customer of Target, I like that Target exposed the breach, so it'll be harder for the hackers to use the info. Also, target has given me a free year of ID-theft protection. I'll get a text alert if a new account is opened in my name.
