I'm on a couple of other sites, but mingle2 is by far the most fun & entertaining there are plenty of interesting people in these forums with lots of different topics to get into.

I haven't seen a single one without a shirt on yet..lol. The key thing is to have patience, try to be friendly and throw some humor around.

good things come to those who wait for them to happen......

 Definitely agree!!

unlike Mingle2, other sites is all about finding your match, finding a date nothing more noting less. With mingle aside from being an online dating site you'll get to be a part of every conversation in forums, have fun sharing your craziest ideas and voice out your opinions with out being judged even learn from every thread you come across. happy

Drawback about dating sites is its hard to tell who are genuinely honest to you about their intentions. Sometimes what you read on their profiles are just the things we perceived to be "ideal" and what opposite sex is looking for. Profiles are like advertisements. the more "positive" qualities you present the more people who'll get interested.

I'm finding that men, especially those 50 & above want women 10 years younger? And they are SO picky & pretentious. It's NO wonder I see the same faces from several other sites

I just assume that these guys want a younger woman as that is simply their preference. I also don't see a problem of being on more than one dating site as why should they limit themselves to being on one site? If they aren't hurting anyone; what is the difference what they do?

Wait, so it's okay for you to belong to more than one site, but not them?

I'm not making a big deal out of this but, i don't think it's right of you to quote my post and then edit out some of the text i have written. if you don't agree with some of it just don't quote it at all. i didn't know this was even possible to do. i would like to hear other peoples opinion on this subject......
