ok this may sound stupid but keep in mind im new here so what forums should I join I mean where do the majority of people hang out?

This site being a waste of time depends on you expectations and how you go about achieving you goals on this site. As for where everyone hangs out. Just explore dude. I have fun in various threads on here. I've even started a few threads of my own. Check out some of the game threads or what ever strikes your fancy. Just explore and have fun. There are so many threads and you never know which one is going to be the most active.
