“Jesus said unto her, I am the
resurrection, and the life: he that
believeth in me, though he were dead,
yet shall he live” (John 11:25).
Before, during, and after Jesus walked
through the streets of Jerusalem and
beyond, mankind has always had an
unquantifiable fear of death. Death is
final. Death is total. Death causes
irreparable loss. That is the reason people
wail and are inconsolable.
Forasmuch then as the children are
partakers of flesh and blood, he also
himself likewise took part of the same;
that through death he might destroy him
that had the power of death, that is, the
devil; And deliver them who through fear
of death were all their lifetime subject to
bondage (Hebrews 2:14–15).
Then came Master Jesus, who not only
demystified death, but taught the world
that death is not final. Death is not total.
Death is not irreparable. Lazarus is dead,
so? I can do something about it! I not
only have resurrection powers; I am
resurrection and life!
When Jesus called out with a loud voice
into the spiritual realms, Lazarus, who
was as dead as dead can be (four days) in
Hades (in Abraham’s bosom) heard and
started journeying back into the physical
realm!
It’s never too late with Jesus! He doesn’t
need to be in a hurry. Are you forty or
fifty years old and unmarried? So? You are
yet to have your physical babies and it
seems you’re getting old? So? Is your
business dead? So? Still looking for a job
at thirty-five? So? You have remained in
the same level for six years? So? Are you
feeling like you have failed in life? So? Is
it December 17, 2013 and you don't have
anything to show for all your efforts this
year? So?
The same thing Jesus told Martha is what
He is telling you today! “Jesus saith unto
her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou
wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the
glory of God?” (John 11:40).
The whole world you see today was
created by God in 6 days! Time is
inconsequential with God!

Alleluah! Let us believe and be patient. God is in charge.
