Hmmmm....since when do Muslim brothers and sisters celebrate Christmas with the manger scene and everything?
in Syria , Lebanon , Jordan and Palestine . lot of Muslims celebrate both Christmas and the new year eve ... although they believe in Jesus Christ as a messenger .. but such celebrations usually are a kind of living the universal event ... there is no need to remind you Mrs Dcastlemissy that Christianity was born in this land .

My apologies FOX, in all the studies I've done on religions, I never came across any indication that the Muslims ever celebrated Christmas, so if this was an error on my part, please forgive the comment. I have an acquaintance who is Muslim, and since they do not believe that Christ was the son of God, but merely a prophet, she does not celebrate Christmas. Then, again I am not familiar with every branch of the Muslim faith either. So, if I have offended, please forgive the comment. Yes, I am very aware that Christianity was born in the Middle East. BTW it is Ms. Dcastelmissy. |

as I mentioned above , it's not celebrated by all Muslims as a religious event , it can be celebrated by those who like to share the word happiness .
this day is an official holiday in those 4 countries I talked about although 3 of them are considered Muslim countries (while Lebanon is Christian one) . |
