im a brown belt in shotokan, and judo,, study jujitsu and akido, took 4 years of muai thai,, and i lift weights alot and run. but since i have a bit of a belly people think im weigh more than i do. so they stay away from me

This topic crops up from time to time, usually started by a lady I've never seen before so I assume she is new. You may find that a lot of men here at least are not nearly as shallow. Although I have a preference, I certainly would've avoid large women like they are some kind of inhuman monsters.

Most men on this site are pretty good, give them a shot I'm sure you'll find at least one that will like you for you.

I studied Mui Thai for a while, just over two years , with my eldest son, who needed a sparring partner..boxing...and am just starting Aikkido, with my youngest son, (he's been doing it for a while,) so he too can have a sparring partner.

ive done akido,, but im not built for it. but people start asking me questions and they find out what i do and they run from me. the like the athlete part but they find out size and run like a illeagle from ins. and i know about origami. but it was funny you know what a dan is. i was trained all in japanese for shotokan

There actually are guys how prefer women who are a bit on the plump side, I am one. I'd much rather have a nice looking women with curves and a decent personality than some skinny wench like Paris Hilton with all the personality of a steaming shovel full of manure.

I think it is how you feel about yourself and the confidence that you portray that people will "see". I at one time was much heavier than I am now, I feel better about myself now that I've lost some weight. I also think as I get older...I have a better attitude about things and that comes through...loud and clear. Bigger women...feel they have to over compensate for their weight. In the long run...it's just not worth it. I am either going to be excepted or I'm not and if the latter is the case....oh well...it's your LOSS, cause I'm a GREAT person.

Size/weight is a consideration for everyone, in dating.

What I look for is the spirit inside.
Bottom line, big or small; love them all.

Its not the size, its her attitude, her self confidence, her self esteem, if she doesnt have that it would be hard to be attracted to her. Chances are if she is not happy with herself, we wont be either.

I am 5'10 and have and always will be curvy even when I am at my thinnest....I have a hard time finding a man who makes me feel small. Usually I am the Amazon of the group....LOL.
