Topic: This Generation Ain't What It's Cracked Up To Be | |

It really is hard to find the "right" one for you in this world today. I find it very hard to trust anybody. What do y'all think?

What do y'all think? trust is a slippery devil for sure. once it is gone it is almost impossible to retrieve...second chances can be a love a lot of people can be right for us if we open our hearts. what is love but the chance to lose ourselves? most cannot make that journey in my opinion |

Not trying to be old mother time but finding it hard to trust people is not unique to your generation.
Really and truly I don't know if more people are really more un-trust- worthy or if doing disappointing things it just is more out in the open. People have better ways of "finding out" when someone is deceptive. Years ago people just looked the other way. Some of those "perfect" long marriages and lives you think seem so much easier are a lot different behind closed doors. Not always is it the cowardly thing to throw in the towel and walk away with your dignity when the one you are with is not with you. Maybe the trick is just giving things a little more time so the members of the Frog Prince(ss) Association let a few croaks slip out and not letting them get lost in the noise or the instant world we like to think we have to race to keep up with. And yea sometimes it seems like there are no good ones left. Psssst some of them are standing right next too you. |

If you really believe this, don't count on finding the right one, because you won't trust them enough to believe they are the right one. Philosophy 101! |

Trust has to be earned...it takes a while, but some people are worthy of it, some, not all.
