Aw crap, Missy, I thought you were willing to donate to the Mock Mingle Marriage....

I can wear my own dress, I have this little white lacy number I've been saving for a special occasion. And I have a pair of 5 inch heels that might not kill me when I try to walk in them, should be pretty epic..
white lacy number? Heels?drool

Would be really awesome to meet most of the regular poster's in the forums because most seem to so smart, funny, creative, and independent. Not so much any infatuation just that I like a variety of personalities and viewpoints and have grown to like many.

The friends I have made over the years that are now pen and Skype friends would be a real treat to meet in person but for most travel is a luxury that is not realistic.

Would be cool if the site had sponsored events where Minglers could meet and greet around a vacation like some of the other servers and sites do.

Thought about this thread many hours over the last few days.

To be honest sometimes I am "put off" by this kind of thread because no matter who you say you like and respect you leave some one out and feelings are hurt or it is seen as a lack of endorsement. Or even a personal disapproval of them which grates on my nerves.

Why; because I would DEFEND TO THE DEATH for people to pretty much live HOWEVER they please and I am genuine in saying I really like, even admire, the majority of people I see here. Even; and because their choices, lifestyles, opinions, and experiences are different than my own. Something that probably would come as a shock to many since I mince no bones about my opinions on just about anything.

To me forums, at least some, are a place for an exchange of ideas, information, and gut reactions on stuff. Hopefully laced with a little humor and empathy but I realize their is a lot of times I don't couch stuff in diplomacy or feel good politically correct therapeutic gobbly-**** that leaves out "you" statements and how "me-ism" doesn't have some really lasting fallout. I am not much for ego stroking, loath selfish and bullying, or what really makes me crazy is people who are (appear to be) their own worst enemy. Many times I wish I could always know when to just candy coat stuff. I get I am gruff, tough, and work from instinct as much as experience. I hope NO ONE ever takes my opinions as ANYTHING but an opinion. Take it, leave it, don't even consider it if it annoys you. No skin of my nose and I genuinely believe it should not be off anyone else's.

I would ask, genuinely ask as a request, because I want to grow as a person my entire life, Do NOT kid yourself if someone can put up a reasonable explanation for their opinion I can be swayed if not out right converted. Some of the people I like the best actually live completely counter to how I live and I am taking bits and pieces of them into my view of the world every day. Not going to say it is not sometimes kicking and screaming resistence but I am told that part of my "Charm" lol is that I say it how I see it and like people even if I don't agree with them. That I am their friend/admirer when it gets right down to the nitty gritty.

Far as I am concerned everyone here is an adult and doesn't need a Mommy in an open debate to pat their hand and say "ok honey I agree with you" and go lalala. Or should be intimidated to check my opinions, or what they perceive my opinions to be because I have no illusions that I make "mistakes". Facts be told the people I admire the most are the ones who have a pair and actually stand their ground. Way I look at it world would be a pretty @#&%ed and very boring place if we all marched lock step to the sea.

Some of the people here I actually "study" for a lack of a better term posts because they are creative, articulate, funny, upbeat, brave, business like, committed, loyal, consistent, diplomatic, faithful, patient, phyisophical (sorry many of you are way better spellers), cerebral , compassionate, excellent parents, and adult children, and remarkable patriots to mention only a few of the traits I have seen in Mingler's.

Ok Ok I suppose I have to bite the bullet and put it out there after all the blather ^; just don't assume if I didn't get you on the list it was an intentional oversite.

Charles: Clear professional who took a great concept and made it a model for the industry. A responsive entrepenuer who is committed to the best of what the internet has to offer. Someone who I believe takes this remarkable "community" very personal. Someone I truly hope soon gets the recognition I think he more than deserves.

Marcus: Another clear professional. A genuine person who is as approachable as he is creative and honest, devoted and loyal. His extended commitment to the Mingle community is remarkable.

Soufie: One truly class act. A lady with humor, patience, commitment and wisdom. A remarkably modest woman for her great beauty. A brilliant woman for allowing/making Krupa love her and an answer to one of my most fervent prayers because of it. Deeply appreciated for her commitment to Mingle.

Krupa: A truly awesome person on so many levels. Actually one of the first things that drew me to Mingle. Someone had seen his art and specifically told me to sign up so I could see it. This artist is really way under appreciated mega talent. Someday he is going to get the recognition he deserves and the sooner the better. His art is powerful, perfected, intense, sensual, and the word creative was invented for his imagination. As a person I can not see how anyone would not admire his commitment to family and friends and the people he loves with passion and generosity. An undercover Angel to the Mingle community I am very impressed that his bodacious personality can also be very gentle, nurturing, genuine, wise, and loyal. He is without a doubt one of the funniest, sincere, smartest men I have been blessed to be a virtual friend with. He and his Mrs. are two people I would not have the least reservation being in my personal world.

Popcorn&Coke: A remarkable giving and loyal daughter, niece, mother, and friend. Someone while being sensitive and very real is also very strong and deserving of all things good that I hope will find her soon. Her countenance and loyalty in my time of need makes her a treasure an me in her debt.

Mikey: A darling person on so many levels. Someone who I admire for his Service to country and his never compromising kindness to the Mingle community. Someone who has with great grace and fortitude faced down a real nemesis. To hear his voice is music to my ears. One of my few regrets in life is this guy is not my neighbor because I would consider being a real life day to day friend a serious honor.

Ruth: Another real class act. A articulate and giving person who shows all of us how to live life after the empty nest with style, a great attitude, and real wisdom.

Luv2RocnRoll: Probably one of my most favorites. Irreverant, resilient, courageous, loving, funny, and in your face people that I respect because she NEVER gives up on her dreams and does not apologize for who she is. A loss to Sacramento that she is elsewhere but a gift to the world. Roberta wishing you great happiness. Also one of the most beautiful women with a irrepressible sensuality that I really wish I could have had the opportunity to photograph over the years because I am sure it would have won many awards and brought her into the light her beauty deserves. She has an inner radiance that with even limited talent she would make it stunning. Up there with the likes of a young Elizabeth Taylor or Rita Moreno. I don't have that many references in the Rock an Roll world but for raw magnetism she brings to mind Janis Joplin.

MsHarmony: I am talking about natural beauty I think this is another of the most beautiful women I have thought about photographing. Ms Harmony's beauty is softer and very understated but elegant. I am surprised that a very successful man has not wooed her away from Mingle but I do not presume that level of person is not in her life and she is just discreet about it. Probably aside from physical beauty she seems to have a cerebral presence and grace that prevail in her vibe and when ever she posts I take a definite heads up to what she says. I also get the drift that she is a committed parent/to children's welfare and whatever differences I might have in theories on various subjects if I had to have what is on many levels still a stranger care for mine I would rest easy if it were her. A superior reference if there ever was one. I really don't think she has a malicious bone in her body and my guess is she is not only resilient but wise and devoted. That she strikes me as one of the most intelligent women on Mingle and I very much enjoy debating her. I am honored that she never surrenders. A true Samuri.

Don: Long time Mingle'r that I have long watched and admired as a community pillar. His social contribution to Mingle I think has been priceless. He seems to hang out with peers is the 50+ rooms but would like to see him come back into forums more. Think he really nurtured folks with fun and fellowship. I have pretty much watched from afar but his steady progress forward after the loss of his spouse makes me think he is a noteworthy person. Actually took a few notes from his motus-operandus. I am hoping one of the nice ladies that has similar interests latches on to him because I think his FWB posts don't give him credit for what I really believe would be absolute devotion to the "right one".

GhostRider: Another class act. This is the John Wayne of good guys that I sorely miss on Mingle forums. Never preachy he could get an idea across in a few words. Devotion to family and an incredibly hard working guy and rarely complaining caregiver that never failed to say it how it was. I did not ever have the pleasure of meeting him but his masculine appearance would be one guy I am sure would have made me consider throwing my virtue aside had he ever given this old broad a second look which of course was not happening with what he had on his plate. I really prayed that he went easy. My sympathy to the folks I am sure miss him terribly.

Bulldog: Semper Fi my darling. This true gentleman is one of the nicest and genuine and real giants on Mingle. Kind and patient my guess as devoted in real life as he is on Mingle. I kick my own butt every single day I did not set my cap for him while I was a lot younger than I am now. Any gal on Mingle would be lucky to have him and grow old with him. If I ever get in his neck of the woods I am going to make a point of looking him up. One of the few guys I would ever drink with gives anyone who knows me knows I would trust him with my life.

Eileen: Without a doubt a real Gem. Someone who has weather many storms with tremendous grace and devotion. That she has Captain is proof that there is a God and Love everlasting is possible here on Mingle and in life in general. I truly hope their golden years are many in number. I so appreciate her acts of kindness.

2KidsMom: A fascinating remarkable Mom who's artistic creativity is mesmerizing even though I sometimes don't get it on first pass. A young woman who is easy to communicate with and a person I find myself truly admiring. Her tenacity and openness is disarming and if I was into 420 one of the few people I would justify repealing the "rules" for. I wish her all things good and pray for her comfort.

Leigh2154: Another remarkable woman. Not only is she beautiful she has long exhibited what I consider the true disposition of a Lady. Smart; funny, kind, and articulate. I often wish I had her polish and grace in presentation. I know that she probably cringes to have me compliment her so but it is deserved. Please don't change. I am trying to learn from you.

Navy Girl: Someone I REALLY like and admire. Independent, smart as a tack, resourceful, caring, contributing on Mingle and in the world. I honor her service to country and even though I think it might embarrass her to say it one of the truly beautiful women on Mingle. She never fails to present in a professional and womanly way with understated but feminine presence. Someone I can't resist hoping is found, pursued, and finally won over by someone of equal character and all the right stuff. Someone who deserves the best.

Lionsbrew: For a relative newcomer to my notice I find your demeanor and articulate posts catching my attention more and more. You give me hope that there are very bright younger people being attracted to Mingle and I find that very positive.

TawtStrat: A very interesting person and increasingly I follow your posts because they are unapologetic and I think give a timely view from a mans perspective.

CrystalFairy: Someone I am increasingly watching because I am impressed as few newcomers do. Usually it takes a lot to win me over. She is kind, smart, generous, feminine, funny, and bold. My guess is she is a remarkable artist and I can't wait for her to bring forward some of her talent. I only wish I was comfortable with her view of going for it in the "romance" department. My guess is she very rarely takes uneducated risks and someone will if they are smart pursue her with determination. She makes me think I might want to rethink how rigid I have become on my private life because in younger years similar well thought thru choices were not as dangerous as I probably see them now. I appreciate that she chides me for being so tightly wound.

OMG I know I am forgetting people but this post is way too long. Please Mingle tweak this program so I can add being succinct to the spell and grammar feature.

Love you all.

I get a laugh out of both of them:wink:
I get a kick out of shy's Journalling
its just true journalling to me,healthy, just letting her thoughts go. Sometimes the questions
must take her back to an experience or has a very
vivid imagination as she will star writing in the
first person at times opposed to answering the question..its like a good trip.

Pony, no-one in their right mind would wanna meet me. laugh

Awwww. How sweet you are. Thanks. I'm flattered. I'm not just saying it. I love how entertaining you people are. drinker.

It reminds me of the Comedy Channel at times.

Laughter is goooooooooooooood. Heh. It's fun how we link our humor onto other threads. We are like naturals. I see a lot of talent in their humor alone. I feel like some really should be in a long-running comedy show that last's for years. I'm like "Why isn't he/she famous?". There's talent in the way a lot here conversate. I like the furore.

OMG I know I am forgetting people but this post is way too long. Please Mingle tweak this program so I can add being succinct to the spell and grammar feature.

Love you all.

joyce, i may come across as a "good guy", but i assure you, if i ever meet you in person, i will sex you up like teenagers on prom night. then i would slip you a "roofie" and do it again, like a true texas gentleman (i learned that from manO). seriously, thank you so much for the kind words. i have been to california when i was in the marine corps and i learned my lesson lol. when you come to texas (not "if") san antonio is one of the stops you will make and we will tour the city. we will take plenty of pics, and post them on singmesweet's thread. i have always admired the things you do for those close to you, and the thoughtful advise you give to those far away. my hope is for goodness and blessings to follow you all the days of your life. godspeed, bulldog
