When you see a profile pic do you immediately think 1. This guy/gal is a psycho 2. He's/she's cute 3. What was he/she thinking 4. I'd like to get to know him/her better 5. Hmmm |

When I see a hot profile pic I say, Oh wow, he's hot.
 And then I read the profile and he has 3 kids.  Or he lives in another country.  Or he's looking for an intimate encounter.  Or he wrote something really stupid in his profile.  And then I write him off as a no go and go back to the forums...

Generally I look at the photo and see if it matches the text. If not then I think scammer or weirdo and skip to the next.
Since I tend to be attracted to middle of the road looks and so many scammers seem to lift pictures of commercially attractive guys my trust meter gets a little wobbly if he is toooooo good looking. Does a photo alone cause me to say I want to get to know someone better? Not a chance. |

When you say 'stupid' in the profile what may this refer to? (not going to use this info at all totally just asking out of curiosity) And before you make fun of my prof pic, yeah I know my arms are small :'( |
