Would you date a woman that is responsible for a person in a wheelchair? This person is 67 yrs old and isa family member. She has no legs but can still do things for herself and has a home help worker. She pays her own way. She was promised that she would always have a home. What do you think ?

I was primary caregiver for my cousin who was in a wheelchair from birth, mentally handi-capped, and unable to do basic tasks. I found women really admired my dedication and refusal to put him in a "home". I already think you are a superhot angel!!!xo

Hey there; you know I am not a man but being a caregiver has never been an extended big barrier to me dating through out my life. And my care recipients got stellar care.

True it is a balancing act where the partner in your life can not always come last but any man worth his salt can usually be accommodating on a reasonable level. Many are wonderful helpers and make it a shared experience.

If being a heroic, 24/7, totally myrterdom to the patient chronic drama is how you roll well give up dating, and get used to being alone. You won't be much use as a caregiver but at least it is a co-patient in her life.

My guess is you can get your duckies in a row and see to it you have alternate caregiver helpers (maybe a daycare program that her Medicare will cover) , a place in your home where you can have privacy, and integrate a top notch person in your life.

Feeding tubes etc.
All the way up to her last breath
