All of this - which is essentially undisputed - leads me to the question: Where is the outrage? I think the government has succeeded in so terrifying us at the prospect of another 9/11 that we are afraid to be outraged at the government when it claims to be protecting us, no matter what it does. C.S. Lewis once remarked that the greatest trick the devil has pulled off is convincing us that he does not exist. The government's greatest trick has been persuading us to surrender our freedoms.

A poster on another site posed this question..... and a good one it is based on prior proven instance....

How did This Happen So Fast?

Did anyone besides me wonder how they got all those signs printed and distributed far and wide, including to all the national parks and cemeteries overseas only eight to ten hours after the government shut down? Analyze this from someone who wants to remain anonymous.

I have worked in the government on and off for over 40 years. During that time I became quite familiar with requisitions, bidding, awarding contracts etc. It is a time consuming process with bean-counters and pencil-necked bureaucrats every step of the way. The simplest request takes months not days or hours.

THINK ABOUT THIS

In less than 8 hours of the shutdown, miraculously, professionally printed 3X4 foot signs appeared all over the country in the tens of thousands saying- "this [park, facility, etc. with custom logos] closed due to government shutdown."

There has not been a government shutdown in 17 years. These signs were designed, specifications were determined, signs were then requisitioned, bids were posted and vetted, government contracts were awarded. The materials were then ordered and the signs manufactured then distributed via U.S. Mails or freight companies.

This shutdown was orchestrated and planned well in advance at least 6-8 months ago. Millions of tax dollars were appropriated and spent in this process.

There is probably a paper trail a mile long leading directly to the "Blight" House. And they can't even get the obummer care implemented for folks to get registered for it either, but this sign making thing was a "snap".??????

We are to believe "Anonymous" because why?

It's not about believing or disbelieving. Posted only for comment as usual because it does pose a good question or observation of the possibility.

I'd say what you see as a government of secrecy and fear is really a reactionary, paranoid government. Judgning by the way it goes after whistleblowers, you automatically know they don't wanna get caught with their hand in the cookie jar...which they have been...time after time.

Check out the paranoia:

The manipulators have, at this point, caused a great fragmentation in the States of America.
Few are in agreement on what has happened to America.
Much less what IS at work in our Nation.
Outrage is sporadic.
