geeez KB..I've had a few friends over here got fucked for the same
reason..the idiot they were crossing with was carrying without letting
them know. One buddy of mine ended up getting his DAD'S Camaro impounded
by US Customs for that very reason.
I got my own horror story, not invovling drugs about 1 trip I tried to
make across the border if yer interested lol

alright lol....3 of us were working a trade-show at the Skylon Tower in
Niagara Falls, Canada...It was horrible..there was dick all for
advertising done so hardly anyone showed up. Anyway this one couple
stopped at our booth and started talking to us. By the end of the
conversation, the had bought some of our products and given us
directions to the restaurant they owned just across the border because
the had invited us to have dinner there. It was our last night so we
packed up the truck and headed for the border. At the American side, the
guard asked where we were going and what was in the truck, and when we
told him he said he couldn't let us in cuz how'd he know we weren't
gonna try and sell it over there without a licence. I felt like an idiot
cuz Ive made more than a few commercial border crossings and you need
paperwork to bring shit across. So my boss asks if we can just park at
the pavilion and we'd walk to the restaurant (it was only 4 blocks) and
he said we couldn't do that either. Ok no prob, by that point I did
realize we had fucked up trying to go across in the 1st place lol...All
of a sudden, the idiot with us starts mothing right off to this guy
calling a stupid yankee and a fuckin asshole and just cussing him out
in general. And before I could clock him one, the doors flew open, and
they hauled all three of us out and basically shoved us to the ground
face 1st, some with guns drawn. My boss and I are freaking and telling
them that this guy really was an asshole (basically he worked for her
cuz he WAS a good salesman). After what felt like an eternity they
finally decided to let us return back to Canada.
The warehouse was located just outside of Windsor and when we got back
to the Canadian side of the Falls, we kicked his ass outta the truck and
told him to find his own way home lmao

at least they figured that one out. that is part of the reason i don't
hang out in large groups of people. some people just don't know how to
act and they can't control themselves. to me it's one thing to voice
your opinion but it's another to be a dick about it .

true, but the border is NOT a good place to voice one's opinion either
lol. This all took place well before 9/11 and US Customs has never had
ANY sense of humour, and they got even less now :-|

i can understand that completely. you have to understand that they are
trying to do a job. that is one of those times that you need to be
serious.
