That's just how the world is. Selfish. A lot are out to get what they want to gain, which is fine in one sense, but lying to get there is also done a lot more these days, because on a dating site, you can't measure truth. If I was here just for sex though, I'd have put that. I'm not here to look good or score points, however, so I have been after the odd intimate encounter, while single. I'm only human. I guess the thrill is fun. A high you get without having to resort to street drugs or alcohol. There's this certain theory that women shouldn't be seen as behaving sexual, until behind closed doors, but I digress, why shouldn't we? If I want a sexual encounter, I'll just put it in my profile. I'm not here to look perfect.

Maturity is the key here sweetie. Guys and gals alike think they are ready for a committed relationship but that's not always the case. We some times find our selves dating and forgetting to have fun with it. The first meeting is important only because we just want to make sure that is the person we saw in the photo. If we are not so lucky as to fall in love at first sight then we sharply move to the next option, are they worth a second date? and if that works out nature should take over. But remember if it feels like a job and not a joy or if it aggravating and not inspiring with in the first few weeks then remember the saying about fish and oceans.

How does a girl walk the delicate balance of being a joy to be around and being fun and enjoyable and probing and finding out if the guy is someone worth a relationship and someone with things in common with on a first meeting/date? Sorry, long winded question. Lol

Why can't people be upfront and honest?

I don't know.

Why can't people who are stocky say that in their profiles instead of saying that they have a few extra pounds?
