It would help if they had term limits for congress. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Article_Five_of_the_United_States_Constitution interesting, and maybe the only way to achieve it! # By a national convention assembled at the request of the legislatures of at least two-thirds (at least 34) of the United States' 50 states To become part of the Constitution, amendments must then be ratified either by approval of: * The legislatures of three-fourths (at least 38) of the states; or * State ratifying conventions held in three-fourths of the states. Any amendment so ratified becomes a valid part of the Constitution, provided that no state "shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the senate", without its consent. |

Both the Libertarian party and Socialist party are gaining popularity in the last 5 years. That's not to say we should expect them as a serious contender in 2016 but maybe within 20 years it's very plausible.

The Democrats have already lowered the bar to include dead people and illegal aliens. What's next? Farm animals and pets? |

That's not to say we should expect them as a serious contender in 2016 but maybe within 20 years it's very plausible. After nearly five years of dealing with a president who strenuously pushes a full blown socialist agenda onto "unsuspecting" citizens, it only seems that way....History shows us that overly ambitious liberal programs have little chance (think JFK), especially when the majority of Americans are against them....Congress may be riddled with career politicians, but thanks to the current administration, people are beginning to understand the most important role of congress is to keep presidents in check ....The only thing Obama has managed to do is divide America....That will be the case until he is out of office....In the meantime, we continue to suffer under his leadership....I think his second term will go down as one of the worst in American history and, once rid of him, America will find her way back to solid ground... |

Need to remove some of those artificial restrictions,or there will never be a Third Party in Congress! |

I don't know. The same LIV that elected him will find another lowly qualified candidate to vote for. Although Hillary would have been better than Obama. She probably will be the next democrat candidate. |

Well, a girl can dream I guess....I had no problem with Hillary until she showed her true colors as Secretary of State ....But yeah, I think if she runs, she'll win and all the arrows are pointing in that direction....God help us!! |
