Anyone read the book Spiritual Psychology, the 12 primary Life Lessons?
I'm reading it and must say it's truly fascinating, although I find it difficult to work out which of these 12 lessons I'm working on.
According to my kinesiologist it's the 12th one, which is great: few ppl choose that one so there's only one example of it in the book.
I find it a bit difficult to grasp its concept.
But you can also have a second and maybe 3rd one you're working on in this life.
Just wondering if anyone else has read the book and found it useful, maybe even uses it in alternative therapy.

In doing therapy, I find that much unhappiness derives from attachments and expectations; one might call this self=imposed cognitive assumption.

Spirituality in therapy, I believe, brings peace, helps with self- acceptance, and may divert attention from the past and future to the present.

According to my kinesiologist . . .

Regarding applied kinesiology, Stephen Barrett, M.D. writes the following:

Applied kinesiology (AK) is the term most commonly used to identify a pseudoscientific system of muscle-testing and therapy. . .

. . . The concepts of applied kinesiology do not conform to scientific facts about the causes or treatment of disease.*

I would hesitate to take advice from someone who makes a living practicing pseudo-science.

Science isn't omniscient and cannot come up with all the answer and solutions. Science often lags behind.
I don't need scientific proof, if it works, that's good enough for me.
If you do, fair enough, I respect that. We all have our own beliefs etc.

Metalwing, I will, once I got my proper keyboard in. To trying to type on this old piece of ....

I hear that! Without my "natural" keyboard, my hands feel cramped and crippled. I stink at a laptop.laugh
