I think that the problem with it is that if it's just casual sex it could certainly be more fun than just watching it on a porno but if it's with someone that you actually care about it might effect your relationship.

Threesomes are a common fantasy, especially for men.....It's more about the visual aspect, less about emotions....Familiarity with our partners can diminish the "visual" impact and lead men (women too) to fantasize about having a 3-way encounter....Watching pornography can also influence 3-way fantasies....I don't think it's that big a deal, especially if the couple is mature enough to talk openly about their sexual fantasies....For me, the thing to remember is acting out ANY fantasy can be a dangerous undertaking....Jealousy can reek havoc on self-esteem which could threaten an otherwise secure relationship....Fantasizing can be sexy, reality not so much....Watching the person you love having sex with someone else would probably feel more like a nightmare than a dream come true....
