I went to pick him up from tennis practice today to go to physical therapy for his knee. I noticed he had his hand up around his stomach, thought he got hit by a tennis ball or something. Come to find out he tripped over his size 12 shoes and landed on his elbow. He finished tennis practice(half hour longer) with a swollen elbow. They thought he dislocated it. I took him over to PT and they told me don't worry about therapy and get him to the ER. I did and they ended up getting x-rays. He ended up breaking part of his elbow. He is now in a cast and a sling. He was laughing the whole time except when they did the x-rays and he had to straighten his elbow out. I was proud of him for staying so strong

Ouch!!!! I know that had to hurt. I sure hope his elbow heals fast. Keeping him in my prayers.

((((Katers))))) I'm glad to hear he is feeling better. Had a similar experience 3 different times with my daughter when she was younger. Seemed like every 5 years the girl had to break something.

Kater, do not feel bad, when my daughter was 4 she fell 6 inches, no kidding, 6 inches and she complained it hurt but kept playing...4 days later, we ended up at the ER she broke he wrist. I was the worst mom ever, see I still remember how bad I was and she is 28 now...

I do feel bad but it is kinda funny for him tripping over his own shoes

I had a fight with my vaccuum and it won...wore a cast for 3 months

kater kater kater, let me tell you my sis broke her ankle when she was about that age,but my mom didn't believe it was broken so she walked around for a week on a broken ankle.!!!
And since then she has broken the same foot 4 more times

I have only had a few trips widely spaced apart with my girls, who are grown now, but who knows what my son is going to put me through

my kids have been to the ER 3 times in the last 3 weeks

My sister's kid is like that......I think he has been to the E.R more times than I can count........Im thinking he is slightly retarded jkjkjk!!! but I babysat him once and he kept hurting himself.....it was like he was an accident waiting to happen and I told her that!!! Then when he was bouncing on the air bend going all mental.....and I took my eyes off of his for 1 second....he hurt himself and I got blamed for not watching her stupid kid!!!!

Anyways.......my kid hasnt hurt himself or broke anything yet.......knock on wood......
