I do. I write poetry... which is a completely self-obsessed idea, and I've met people online and lost people that I met online... but, I'm really confused.

Okay, so we're living in the "Information Age".

So... there's a lot of information available if you want statistics about why guys do this or women do that.

There's empirical evidence.

I'm seriously wondering why I'm not significantly more jaded.

I think part of it was that I never expected to find love. I think love is created by a partnering of psyches.

Or something that would sound good in iambic pentameter.

What I'm saying is that I still have a birthday coming up this year and I don't think I understand most people anymore.

Sometimes fulfillment of a certain desire destroys you. Most of the time, it changes nothing.

Anyway, where you are right now, how's the weather?

From behind my window it looks sunny today.

Seems like rain here today.

I personally think none of this exists outside of a single, sole conscious...In that; I have two choices, leave it the way it is...Or try to change it for the better.

It isn't that I'm jaded, or bitter...I'm just mostly uninterested. What I wish to do in life is going to take me to a lot of places and keep me very busy, it doesn't make sense to think that there is a woman out there willing and able to keep up.

It was just the more realistic choice based on what I want to accomplish in my life, sacrifices had to be made and one of those was most relationships. I always tell people, "Do you know what would have happened if da Vinci ever married?" "No, what?"

"His wife would have got the credit."

Trying to understand people will drive you crazy.

Where I am now it's very warm and the sun comes and goes.

Perhaps you have dis-attached yourself from main stream society. It seems like you are asking a lot of questions that you are not aware of. You do not have to understand people, that is not your job. The world is far to vast to get the slightest grip on how, or why people do what they do. In a sense, you are just a small fish in the sea, who has its own business to tend to.

I have never once tried to understand the lives of other people. I can get lost in my own thoughts trying to figure out my own life. I lack a dependable social group because of this, because I care not to know other peoples problems, decisions or ethics, when I have my own rubriks cube to sort out.

You are just one man in the world. You are part of a system, a world, you have a place.

Here, the sun is hiding behind the clouds. It is fall, and horribly depressing.

Its getting ready to rain here. I think your not jaded because your a balanced and realistic person. Its obvious your deep but sometimes the path to love is long and curves along the way. Stay real, stay focused and hey lets see some of that poetry!
