Hello Everyone, can anyone tell me how to instant message here? I really can't find it. It's not like FB were it just pops up, LOL! I appreciate the help!

Hi Karla,

I have never used instant message on this website but it is my understanding that when you click on someone's profile, there is a instant message button. The button does not appear if the individual does not have instant message enabled in their settings.

Thank You, I will go and look! I got a notice that someone messaged me and it wasn't in my mailbox. Wonder where it went? LOL!

That is a good question. Their profile may have been deleted since they emailed/messaged you. You may want to check your email and IM settings see if that helps.

Instant Messenger is being worked on to update it.
When it returns, this is what you would do:

HOW DO I IM?
First, you must have YOUR 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON:
http://mingle2.com/user/enable_im
(Or >>My Account>>Settings>>Turn ON IM)

Then you would go to the profile of the person
with whom you wish to chat.

Under their picture there is an orange button
'Instant Message' which you would click on and
the request to Instant Message is sent.

If there is no orange button labeled 'Instant
Message' it could mean one of two things.

The person does NOT have 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON.
(In which case you could email them and request
they turn it ON.)

Or, the person is in 'Stealth Mode.'

Email can disappear for a couple of reasons,
deactivation is one or it might have been
caught in the language filters.
Some links can boot it also.
