I agree, you have a better chance of getting a response if you mention something in her profile. Some women get lots of mail, they can't possibly answer all of it, and obviously they won't want to answer all of it. But if they see that you've actually taken the time to read what they've written and ask about it or make a comment, it shows you're interested and capable of conversation, not just sending out random mails to any woman with a cute photo, within a 50 mile radius.

Looked at your profile and while it doesn't say anything offensive it is so generic in it's explanation of you it could apply to about what maybe 20,000 guys in the Boulder area alone?

Putting up a profile is tough; I get that and not like you want to tell all your secrets or just hand over your entire identity on line but if it is like pulling needles out of your eyes to try to find something to sustain even a casual email conversation with you then eligible women are going to move on to those men who doesn't make it that hard.

You haven't used the most flattering picture, the one to pick needs to be engageing and that usually computes to smiling.

Plus sorry you do need more than one when every scam artist on the internet can lift at least one if not several photos and assume a persona.

So loosen up a little and have fun with the process. Post photos regularly (gheesh with the technology that you have available today you can do it in a snap) and keep sending responses and posting in the forums so the people who are really looking (yea a lot of us are only doing so occasionally or watch a while and see what you are about before they respond ) so hang in there and let the smart gals see that you are available. The tide will turn.
