I havent been on here long but ive been searching and nudging and nothing is coming back my way. Is it me or is my profile not up to par? Ladies a little help and dont be shy or scared to be honest...im a big boy I can take constructive criticism.

Maybe change your profile pic. Even though you want to look fun, it looks more like a resume for comedy act. Women while liking humor, want to know your serious about being on here. Hope this helps.

Your profile blurb is too cheesy in my opinion.

Believe me, I tried the "I'm an honest, caring guy with a great personality" jazz on my profile too and it went down like a lead baloon. Honestly, what sort of mug goes about boasting about being a nice guy?

I ignore nudges unless I've held the other person a conversation. It's best to get to know people in the forums, instead of sending out random emails.

You've only been here for 2 days. Have some patience.

Add more pics, some in color would be nice. Use spell check, many people don't take a profile with several misspellings of basic words seriously (I know I don't), try punching up your description; tell about what you like to do.

I agree with the person who suggested taking out all that stuff about being a nice guy, a guy with a heart of gold, etc. etc.; people will learn that you are a nice person eventually, if you are- for now they want to know what else is interesting about you and if you have anything in common.

Change the profile pic. I agree with some of the other comments. It's not super flattering. In fact it reminds me of the look my puppy gives me when I talk to it and it doesn't understand. No offense or anything- that was my first reaction. Plus the booze and cigar are working against you. Go outside, in some natural light and have a friend photograph you. Best of luck :)

Oh and I forgot to mention about the nudges... A nudge from a guy means to me " I'm interested but I don't have the confidence to risk talking to you." Women respond best to tailored emails that connect with something specific from their profile. You can skip the "you're beautiful" or "how are you."

I agree with most of the girls regarding nudges...If you can't take the time to send a message,i can't be bothered to reply.I only nudge people that i have been chatting to for a while or a guy if i want to get his attention and for him to make the first move.I think your profile is great - it shows you have a sense of humor,however i also agree with the comments regarding the picture...i like it but keep it as the 2 or 3rd picture :) Good luck in your search
