Without is my preference. I like to use my imagination. There were several poets on this site who would post with pics and when they have both gifts....That was a real pleasure. You could see precisely into their minds/souls eye.

No pictures thankyou very much. I prefer to use my imagination. I don't really like poetry but I do enjoy Goethe's Faust. Very dark.

If I'm reading a book of poems, I'm not expecting photos.

Thank you both and i tend to agree
Youtube is for video and i even made a couple poems posted there with pictures But i try and paint a visual in my readers minds with my writing Appreciate your opinions ! |

There's nothing wrong with adding photos as decorations...it's just that I wouldn't feel short-changed or anything if I opened a poetry book and there weren't any.
