Wow, that must have been something to be able to voice your opinion like that. I wish my growing up had been like that. I know my life would have been a lot easier. My ex grew up in a situation like that. It caused us problems because I wasn't and was a lot more reserved. Respect can be a weird thing when you are trying to respect them and you feel like you are being taking advantage of. I don't like being intimidated either.
