Some people are not prepared for the truth and some things are nobodies business.
Having said that though, saying you have kids or that you are not a smoker when you are, those types of lies bug me. I saying you go to church all time or whatever, things that are relevant to a daily life and interaction are important facts to be discussed in a relationship. |

I think many people lie to your face in person. They are afraid of confrontation.

If the good ones can't deal with the truth; then that is their problem. Not going to compromise who I am. I am not that desperate that I feel the need to lie to have someone in my life. |

i dont use a different persona to attract anyone. and i feel the same as the ladies above ..im going to be myself .. and either someone will aprreciate it or not .. why would you tell a lie to someone you hope to perhaps meet and have a relationship with??

I find it's easier to hide behind a computer,never once in all the time I've been here have I actually met anyone,2 no show's and the rest stayed hidden behind the computer.

I prefer dealing with hurtful truths than finding out lies - and in my experience they usually do get found out. I'm also a hopeless liar even if it is done to save pain. I'm very trusting - some call it gullible...

People lie to get something the truth won't get them. But then eventually, those lies will catch up with them. It's hard to remember a lie. Unless you're a good story teller, then heck knows. Only person they're fooling is themselves. |
