I think hippie is looking forward to the tusseling around to smear the chocolate & then offering to "LICK" it off. You know, you really shouldn't be encouraging the Hippie... he gets too many ideas and runs with them Ms. Silver, I hope that weather for the wedding turned out OK. Oh yea.... I wasn't sure about posting a pic of my new grandbaby. But someone e-mailed me. So after thinking about it, I figured I'd post it here. instead of the well wishes. The pervs don't usually lurk in here do they? He's my first and I'm so proud of the little buggar. He mostly looks like his mommy, but there's a hint of my side and his daddy in there.... you just need to close your eyes half way and compare pics to old ones I have of his daddy as a baby Oh How SWEET !! Congradulations !!!! He's precious !! It's fine to post pictures, just no last names phone numbers or addresses..

Hi Viv Not a good day for me. Took Barney to Vet today and he has a cancerous tumour on his spleen .Nothing can be done .Needless to say we are beyond heartbroken. He only got sick last night a 10pm. Right now he isn't suffering so we are just keeping him happy and comfortable.

I had to have one of my babies put down because he had a stroke. I was beyond sad. Even more so when I had to have him put down because he would not recover. I cried for a month. I think about him every day. My other dog misses him still. So do I. I wish strength for you at a very, very, sat time. Hugs to you!

I guess in a way he did pull an all nighter. He was less than 24 hours old in this pic He doesn't look like my side much, especially with that dark hair, that's his mommy and his grand daddy on his father's side. But my grandbaby does have my son's mouth (looks only for now, the sass-back will come with time) and he does have his daddy's chin. Thanks everyone on the well wishes. And Hippie I've only gotten to see & hold him once at the hospital and again about a week later at his home. Unfortunately they live an hour away and this is my busy time of year till around January. But you can bet I'll be seeing that grandbaby within a couple weeks or I'll get grandmom anxiety attacks.... and that won't be a pretty thing A round of coffee for everyone

Thank you everybody: flowerforyou: He is still with us, but is likely tohave a sudden death .The vet said it could be days or three mos. Don..what you said was bang on. Its painful.

Morning minglers Betty, so sorry to hear about Barney..hugs to both of you.. Viv, sorry to hear about your friend.. hugs Recently, a lot of young people have been passing away around here.. It's really sad. For the last week we have had some beautiful weather, sunny, low humidity and 75-80 degrees..I've been sleeping with the windows open....leaves are starting to change.. I did a trip to Pennsylvania to see my daughter. She was in the hospital for a few days with acute bronchitis and wanted to give her some "mommy hugs"..She was glad I came.. Everyone have a great day!!
