Still I wish, I wish you could be who I believed you to be Do I give my all for a fraction of who I need you to be? Still I wish, I wish that lines weren't crossed and trust not broken I wish that love was meant as often as spoken Still I wish, yea I wish I was stronger Not sure if the strength is to throw the towel further or to hang on longer Still I wish, wish you knew my heart and my thoughts everything that I am is everything that you lost That's a lot, not just a friend and a lover More like a partner for life that's now in search of another Still I wish and will always wish you the best And admit that I've failed if all of this was a test.... I wish
