I put a voice with the pic and it can change from pic to pic even with the same person

for some reason that never bothered me.

The voice completes the personality portion of the image I have seen and the person I have spent the time to learn more about.

wonder if anyone would like my voice and my french accent..

i'm sure they would. some guys love a french accent.

I am going to speak tomorrow night with a friend from on here and I am so looking forward to hearing her voice. She is a dear friend, will be nice to hear her.

For me..yes voice does have an effect on me...I like "manly" voices...if a man sounds "high" like a womans..sorry dude...complete turn off...LOL

I did and would not be as happy with my new man if I had not. So enjoyed 'talking' via email and IM with him. Then we went to the phone. Oh my, serious Southern accent. Once upon a time, I would have run away. This time I didn't. We met for dinner that night and ended up sitting on the patio talking until the restaurant closed for the evening.

I have talked with one person from here. Never even thought about what she would sound like before we talked. I now know what an angel in heaven sounds like though.

Voices usually blend with and enhance a personality. The only ones that would turn me off would be the obnoxious one with really nasty habits!!

After emailing & IMing with a guy off another site we went to the phone...he has the sexiest voice, the well spoken, deep, radio announcer type voice. Another guy I spoke on the phone with was a real turn off...his voice was soft and quiet, mixed in with weezing and gasping for air. He sounded like he was going to keel over during our conversation.

I've lived in Washington state for the last 29-30 yrs., some people meeting me out here for the first time ask me if I am originally from the midwest...they say they can detect an accent. I didn't know Ohioans had accents!
