No one round to talk to?
He thinks he'll go to bed. At least there's something soft there Where he can lay his head It's warm, It's soft It's just the thing Where he is sure of rest Sadly it's a pillow And not a partners breast Alone again in a darkened room With no one there but him In silence, peace and quiet gloom His future seems so grim Tomorrow is another day He'll meet the one he seeks And he won't feel alone there A brighter newer week Washed up, feeling all at sea He'll have someone to share Someone who will love him Someone who will care His eyes they close He falls asleep His body now at rest Yes tomorrow is another day And hopefully the best. Behind that sense of humor lies a true poet. That was really nice.
