I've never had a problem with Firefox until today. Firefox is telling me that it's "unresponsive" and they had me use their "safe mode" to get online. That means that I don't have a toolbar now.

Has anybody else had that problem before?

Thanks for the information. I might end up having to do that. I restarted the computer and using Firefox's safe mode to start Firefox. I don't have a toolbar now.

There's goes my suggestion of trying to reset Firefox, not sure how to do that without being able to access the toolbar.

sounds like a virus...

delete firefox and run a anti virus scan, then reinstall

I restarted the computer for the fourth time and Firefox starting working again. It looks a tad different though.

I'm suspicious about a virus. Over a week ago, I clicked on a site about gardening and it said that it was a hacking thing (nothing about gardening). I did a scan and nothing showed up and nothing has been abnormal until today.

The Tech that came out did the virus scan as well to make sure no virus found.. I had clicked on a site just before the issue happened... He said somehow it put a glitch in the Firefox and said to make sure to delete the old one not to try to fix the one I already had... He said he has seen it happen a few times just start fresh and re add the tool bars you want...

Thanks for all of the information. I'll keep it in mind for the next time it happens. Luckily, everything returned to normal. :)
