Gee i sure wish my kids felt like that about me....

You know what, the sad thing is they might not realize how much they care until it is to late!!! I always tell my boys to keep in touch with their dad because they never know how long they will have him here. I actually keep pushing and pushing them into calling him all the time. My boys might be 25 and 18 but I think having a loving relationship with their Dad is very important.
After I lost my Dad it just did something to me. IF I see people disrespect their parents or grandparents I just go insane. I guess they just take them for granted and they don't realize how fast they can be gone.
I am sorry KIK that your kids don't feel about you like I feel about my Dad, want me to sit them down and have a talk with them? Trust me, they will never forget me or my talk!!

I have had a recurring dream since childhood.....not sure if its a dream or a memory thing.

Every so often, ill drift off and wake up where i fell asleep. Trouble is im still sleeping, and everything in my room is exactly where it was when i fell asleep....so bizarre. Its like my subconscious is making a mental note of exactly where everything is before i fall asleep, and bringing it up in my dreams. Confusing!

Also, this one is quite common - anyone else every had the 'teeth falling out' - dream?

Yes! I absolutely hate having that dream. I always wake up and grab the chompers, give 'em a good yank to make sure they're still firmly in place, and vow to eat more steak while I still can!bigsmile

I actually have quite a few dreams that recur. When I was younger I was plagued almost nightly by one of Bigfoot creeping down my street and looking in my second story window. But I chalk that one up to watching a 'scary' movie at an impressionable age. scared

The 'naked in public' one irks me to no end! It's insane too because in the dream I have no compunction at all about walking around with no shirt on and I don't feel embarrassed although people are staring. And I don't even try to cover up, just go strolling along like nobody's business. Totally unlike me too, or at least the awake me that shutters at the thought of being naked in front of anyone! blushing

I'm just wondering of the flying dreams are recollections of what we used to do before this conscious time we're in.
Misswright. I have no idea why? You are a nice looking woman.

Thank you for the compliment. flowerforyou

I know why! My mother! She drilled it in my head every night when I was a little girl..."NOBOBY should EVER see you naked!". Now I know she was trying to prevent molestation and had the best of intentions but damn! She coulda thrown in "until you meet a great guy and fall in love" or something along those lines. frustrated

I've made some progress over the years but I surely won't be moonlighting as a stripper anytime in the foreseeable future.

I do therapy for that.
Every once in a while I moon Amtrak as they roll by.

The thought is that we are not humans having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience.

OBE anyone?

I would tell you about my flying dreams, -- I did that once before on mingle and certain people proceeded to make fun of me when I said I flew out of the dream and found myself (or my observer self) actually in space and I flew through the solar system.

Reoccurring dream: I dream about a house. Its usually the same house, and the condition of the house in the dream seems to reflect the condition of my life. When I was married and the marriage was in trouble, the house in the dream had a crumbling foundation.

When I dream of the house now, it needs repairs on the second floor and the roof.

Astral projection?

I have a dream I'm a waitress at a seafood place in Maine, I've never been to Maine before but in my dream all my customers know me and it's a small town and I wonder I was reincarnated from Maine somewhere, lol

I`ve had a lot of strange dreams and visions. Recently I dreamt I got strangled by a man, was very realistic. Before that, I woke up, seeing a woman sitting on top of me in bed, saying her name was Elisabeth (without the h perhaps). The list goes on ... :p

Jeanniebean!! I HOPE to have a dream/experience like that one day. I'd love to fly around in space!!

I've heard that usually a house represents a certain person in our lives. But I've also heard that people in our dreams always represent us, or some aspect of ourselves. So maybe you're dreaming about your mother who has a certain quality that irks you but you also have... but you could just fly around and poke her right in the windows!! Take that ma!! Wait, that's my dream...

That's pretty cool that your house seems to represent your life, would you say?? Are you nearing retirement age at all, or worried about your future? Just a stab in the dark. Man dreams are neat!

Yes I am at retirement age... I guess you can say I am retired.

I could stand to be in a lot better financial shape and if I was more organized, I think the house in the dream would be in better shape.
