Baby bush was routinely burned and hanged in effigy, while in office.

What makes Hussein so special?

what STATE SPONSORED Event had burning or hanged JRS as PART OF THE EVENT, while he was sitting president?

just curious,,,

Uh, what American President has the initials J.R.S.?

[And, no, "Junior" isn't a part of the name of the younger President Bush.]

responding to the 'baby bush' question,, with a similar terminology 'jr'

referring to President George W Bush, OR George Bush Jr.

The name of the younger President Bush isn't "George Bush, Jr.".
He isn't a "Junior" because his name is not identical to his father's.

The last "Junior" to run for the office of the American Presidency is Albert Arnold Gore, Junior, the son of the late Albert Arnold Gore, Senior.

Anyway, back to the main topic, what that rodeo clown did was disgusting.

junior is also a way to reference someone named a child after the father

which , although they left out HERBERT, they obviously did

no biggy though,, to be formal,, President George W Bush was still afforded certain respect during his presidency at any government sponsored event

just as his father George HW Bush was,,,,

Half-a-brainers who know how to Google, will see, all over the net, Baby Bush didn't get "SPECIAL " treatment.
Again, while in office, he was routinely burned and hung.

Hussein's gets off easy.

When I get back on a computer I'll throw on the hanging, empty chair. Maybe, I can find one that's burning. laugh laugh

this wasn't 'on the net',, or 'all over'

this was at a STTE SPONSORED EVENT,,,,

give examples of how , at a STATE SPONSORED EVENT, the event included disrespect of the sitting president,,,,

with no consequence,,,

I don't pick nits.

Hussein should be fair game. Just like all the rest.

Curious to know, how many who wanted to see him gored were ex worshippers.

Really? What that "clown" did was wrong. Even conservatives and Republicans know it.

and how was it wrong? freedom of expression and speech, does that ring a bell?

They've taken our rights, our pensions, our money, our jobs and our homes.....our ability to enjoy a good joke, freedom of expression and humorous entertainment is about all that's left for them to do away with

Notice how it is quickly turned into a race card instead of one of political policy! grumble

I don't even see what it had to do with political policy

it was a local event which had an incident inappropriate and disrespectful towards the sitting president

but then again, I don't think highly of those who get excited at the idea of a bull mowing down ANYONE

this country is full of scary folks,,,

That is the best thing about Rednecks, they are always willing to go fight our wars and often bring their weapons!

and how about 'free market',,,,

so the people who SPONSOR an event get to decide what type of acts they want IN The event

end of story

I think comedy has gotten a little cruel. I love comedy but the worst are these celebrity roasts. They used to be all in fun and and funny but the ones they do these day are just totally mean, cruel and insulting to the max. Tactless and unfunny.

A lie is expression of free speech. Is a lie ever wrong?

Obviously not, when it's Obama doing the lying.

I totally agree with this. Back in the days when Dean Martin hosted them everyone knew each other, and the jokes were in good spirit.

Now they just bring on whatever "comedian" they can get and everyone tries to out insult each other.

How is this different then the Mellencamp song Rodeo Clown that he wrote about President Bush during his Presidency or the ICP song Praying for George Bush to die.
